aboutpage
I was born in Fulwood in 1958, and brought up in Ecclesall.
Business

Family
My wife, Kathryn, and I were married in 1985 and one reason for moving back to Sheffield is that we wanted to bring up our children here. 2 of the 4 were born at Jesspos.

Hobbies & Community
I have worked hard to help reduce health inequalities and reduce the number of mixed sex wards in Yorkshire hospitals.
I am a keen sailor, enjoy watching Rugby (but my playing days are now over!). I can often be seen cycling (slowly) through Whiteley Woods to the Mayfield Valley. I have also been known to try my hand a rock climbing at Stannage (but usually need a hand up).
I am a member of a local church (Ecclesall) and a member of its Church Council and have led groups from there to other countries including India.
